Grappling with isolation, the journey navigates the complexities of cultural identity in a multicultural landscape. The emotional toll of reconciling different aspects of self while striving for authenticity.

[recurring series note]
My relationship with Dad was primarily in English-only. Although the salty vinegar'n'spice came from a Türk, the chips are packaged with Australian branding on the outer. This is an illustraion of how my relationship with the Türk`ish language was imprinted through my father & paternal grandpa. My experience of Türk`ish lingo being like an underwater experience with Sarpa & The Fisherman, continues.

FUGU : Tuta Bilmədiyim Balıq

the sunglight is hurting
your vinegar, always
swallow-it-you-must, hey?
with your vomit come here, my crabby
that which ruins your life
is delectable with salty chips
by your side, as though you had an existence
swiming to face with a 100, you were swimming
my frugal lilac chimney-fish
swim
consumption of eternity's clock
while you were sitting at the sea-hole
with your fishing hook
your heart's zeal was burning
«fisherman! please! bit my hook!»
«eat my hook!»
with your baitless hook
without a meal
the fisherman couldn't swallow it either
