This was an attempt to use Latin as a phonetic representation of Australian English, based on how Latin was encoded through Türk`ish. It also involved a typographic analysis to identify instances where visual representations caused jarring obstructions the perception of sound.

There was considerable difficulty with (ğ), which is why I cannot regard it as a standard letter. I see it more as a vowel-blender or vowel-extender. I disagree with how this letter was categorised in the first dictionary; it is not correct or appropriate when I need to search for vowel-specific extensions.

(ğ) functions more like an effect, similar to using the wah-wah pedal on a guitar, the portamento wheel on an electronic keyboard, or the wobbling dongle of a Vietnamese dan-bau. It truly requires a different type of symbol to represent its function. I need my dictionary indexed without (ğ) being filed near [g].
