This study diverged from rigid metred analysis, focusing instead on a
freestyle audio sample.
It highlighted how the English component of
my auditory processing interferes with sound reception. Ive since
realised that switching into English mode is triggered in certain
conditions. When my mind operates in this mode, access to Türkish is cut
off, requiring a difficult recalibration to start hearing Türk'ic signals
again--| a process akin to a hard reset. Sound samples rich in
(w->)--| especially words starting with
this sound--| automatically makes the English processing channel dominate.
This renders the Türk'ic half non-existent. It's like the two halves can't
share or work in the same space in unison, it can only one or the other,
especially when (w->) is a dominant sound.
To maintain a connection to Türkish for auditory processing, I can only
work in post-production, by studying text, speaking the words out slowly,
and listening to sound samples in small, controlled portions....

Key oscillating consonants noted in this
sample were: ♪(b=p)
♪(ğ=y) ♪(m=n)
♪(r=v)
Although I felt like a complete
novice at the time, reflecting on this work now is surprising, as it
validates my perceptions as they were. Despite my uncertainty and
self-doubt, my insights were accurate and consistently aligned with
observations from deeper research over the years.
In hindsight,
becoming familiar with these oscillations and recognising their consistent
mishearings or misrepresentations, was absolutely essential for improving
my comprehension of the mother tongue. This understanding is why I needed
to adjust the design of my alphabet, so it could accurately represent how
I was hearing and processing sounds as units of my own voice.
