This was an enchanting exercise that explored prosody & the impact of stress, through both the spoken & musical form through rhythmn. There was a deliberate shift in the cadence towards the end & it was interesting to see it's impact on how the language expressed. I enjoyed how this one captured the states of how the suffixes do exist for me. Although this spoken form is not standard in how things are stressed, it actually felt right & closer to home for me. The syncopation, is registering as a side effect of growing up on this land - it was shaped by the rhythmns of here.

o'rada otur'uyor
there it sits

sabun kutu'sunun üst'ünde
on top of its soap box

umut'suzɉa ateş et'meye çalış'ıyor
desperately attempting to shoot

histeri'nin son inatçı'ları
with its final rounds of die-hard hysteria

yok oluş böyle gör'ünüyor
that's what its extinction looks like

..and then one day, they claimed it was [more & more people (whatever-yada)] - but they were just desperately trying to manufacture another mördoqkratik hysteria story.
