Addressing Educational Shortcomings: Adapting
to Autism, Dyslexia, and Dysgraphia A presentation about
education and the failure to accommodate for individual needs,
particularly in the context of autism, dyslexia & dysgraphia.
This
tool was designed to align Cyrillic letters with the Latin alphabetical
order, bridging the gap between these two distinct systems. By allowing
for scrolling and oscillation, it explores the complexity of language
perception and helps validate the diverse auditory experience. It's one
reflection of the cognitive scramble experienced, but also shows how
different states of order can be found within the perceived chaos. This
parallels the way the matrix spins at high speed, generating new, tangible
forms.
The experience of this matrix, aims to validate and
normalise different language processing experiences. I aims to offer
reassurance and foster understanding, for individuals with varied sensory
and cognitive processing styles. It is a disruption in conventional views
on dyslexia. The immediate goal post needed for the Turkic stream, is a
revision based on phonological states of order. Future research includes
the examination of phonetic representation & ordering in other languages.
This method of cross-referencing, has offered alternative perspectives and
has frequently validated diverse language perception. I look forward to
lörning more.
