This piece carries an example of incomplete language acquisition,
affected by comprehension gaps arising from language attrition during
early childhood.
Incomplete Language
Acquisition & Comprehension Gaps There was an issue with
[sowing], that fused with the Turkic root [ek]. The meaning didn't solidly
fuse when I was a kid. I thought it meant to plant a seed, or to add
something extra into something, but it fused with the act of sowing. The
word came from my mother. I sense it must've happened during act of
planting seeds. That's how it remains in my body memory. I can't recall
the actual event. I only remember how the meaning for [ek] fused with the
physical action of sowing/planting seeds into a pot of soil. I estimate
this happened when I was around 2-3 years old.
Divergent Meanings & Lingering Confusion
The dictionary lists a menagerie of meanings for [ek]: joint, seam, scar,
addition, an added piece, annex, appendix, supplement, additional article.
The meaning that almost clicked was [an added piece], but not in the
context of adding water to a recipe. Adding water into a pot, to make
soup--still sounded like a request to plant (or sow) water. The meaning
for [ek] didn't quite connect with concepts like [joint] or [seam]. In
English, the problem with [sowing] persisted with [sewing], resigning with
a sigh that sounded like [SO WHAT`ing?!!!].

do have a spare 5'inch & 9'inch you can borrow, if needed - but it is
better to bring your own one for plug & play. See ya, TA! ~
~ The
abojuice was strong during this time. The lexicographic charting of this
period was intense. I was stranded on my own, with a chainsaw that got
locked up. Fortunately, I got lucky finding the right angled-wrench for
the repair job inside James Bond's Mini Bunning's shed. Poor design meant
we had to own over 2000 different proprietary tools just to loosen screws
and bolts.
Geographical Scanning :
Saw-Milling Town Syndrome Detected All that remains. Can't
remember if the sawdust penetrated at this point. Was there a saw mill?
Oberon was the Twin Peaks end of town. Same kind of saw milling town
syndrome. Malignant wood chemical trails lurked in the buried bush, like
the creepy house with no stairs, located south of the Yellow Box Cabins.
There's no need to dig fox holes in bush like that, because the animals
will take care of it over-night. There was vague memory of getting angry
with something GOP'astic at the time, who had a combover. Although the
climate & elevation was ideal for migration during summer, but it was
another bed of clay. No solid rock to build here. Recurring flooding
events continued to wash their roads away overnight. They failed to
maintain their roads and continued to believe this was a civilisation.
CHECKSUM: seek-track terrain 1100m above sea level. The climate
offers respite during summer - no need for air-conditioning. Disadvantage
- significantly shorter sowing window for growing produce compared to
temperate environments, ideal for cold-climate fruiting trees but high
risk of spring frosts that can kill a whole season of trying. It's still
good for cold-tolerant plants. Not worth the effort for building
infrastructure on clay, unless you can design your roads & homes to float
like the adobe abode boats in Vietnam ~// abort.
Cultural Heritage : Recollections of Concrete and
Ceramics There was a reference to
>>>
concrete and ceramics
connected to my paternal grandfather from Kütahya, who had a fascination
with examining the concrete of ancient ruins that had lasted for
centuries. He often criticised how the concrete of his time wasn't as
durable. During this period, I was also working with ceramics and felt the
same frustration, thinking «They don't make things as strong as they used
to». The Australian glazes seemed weak, decaying like plastic or brittle
polyurethane that would shatter in my hands. My work with ceramics here,
made me feel connected - because of how Kütahya also had deep cultural
connections to the craft.
