In this video, the song title was inspired by a funny instance of phonological distortion. When I said «Old MacDonald» the recipient heard it as «Omar Kadonald», due to a subtle nuance or micro-vowel between the letters [c] and [d]. Although there was no conscious accent at the time, this moment highlighted how unconscious accent variations can impact communication.

The song was composed just before the move to Wombatistan, during a stressful period when we were forced to leave another problematic rental property in the Blue Mountains due to its undisclosed flooding issues. The song served as a comedic outlet during that challenging time. I’ve included it in this archive because the event that inspired the title, reflects an intriguing linguistic quirk that is central to my work on language and communication.
