In this video, we dive into the interplay between Australian vowel harmonies and Turkish phonology. The study is divided into two distinct phases.

1st Reading: The first segment features a recording of Turkish with an Australian accent and vowel harmonies, designed to capture the natural cadence and rhythm of Australian English.

2nd Reading: For the second segment, the tempo was edited to precisely match the Australian rhythms of the initial recording, but the speech was delivered with a standard Turkish accent.

This prosodic examination revealed how the distinctive rhythm and cadence of Australian English contributes significantly to its unique sound, highlighting the impact of rhythm on cultural identity.
